The Department of Labor issued its Final Rule updating salary and
compensation levels needed for employees who are exempt under the
executive, administrative and professional exemptions. The new rules
take effect December 1, 2016. This course covers basic concepts under
the Fair Labor Standards Act and regulations as well as a detailed
review of the changes and the consequences to an employer’s workforce.
The course also delivers ideas and solutions to enable compliance with
the Final Rule.
